What are the risks involved in participating in a clinical study?
Every trial has potential risks, which may include side effects from the study medication or the study medication may not be effective. Participation also takes time. We’ll provide full details about the specific risks and time required with each clinical study before you enroll.
Am I eligible to participate in a clinical study?
We have several clinical trials currently available that you may qualify for, but we are always looking for volunteers to keep in mind for our future studies. If you don’t see a specific study that you are interested in, you can go the the “Contact Us” page to share your name and contact information and you will be added to our database so you can be notified of future studies you may qualify for.
Can I quit my clinical study at any time?
Yes, participation is voluntary. You have the right to withdraw from the trial at any point.
Do I have to be a patient at Koch Family Medicine to help with a clinical study?
No! Anyone can participate in our clinical trials. Our office is conveniently located in Morton, right off the I-74 and I-155 Interstates.
